Biden’s US Stalin would be a clone of Britain’s Starmer

Before we get started today, there’s an outstanding substack at long last pointing the finger of guilt at the US unelected State as a blatant dictatorship. It’s from T L Davis and this is the link: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/FMfcgzGxTPFzPTCClMwvJxxqtBcKjvbV

This snippet is the best summary of US denialism re lost values as I’ve read so far:

The DOJ is nothing other than a modern-day Gestapo and everyone in the country knows it and yet, the liberal media pounds everyday on what a threat to democracy and the rule of law Trump would be, looking past the dictator already in the White House.’

Not to be missed.

My conclusion? Politicised education breeds cul-de-sac ignorance.

And before anyone writes me off as an anti-Yank Little Britain snob, let me make one thing clear: Great Britain is not quite Nazi Germany just yet, but it has no functional Opposition Party, and the risible small-Party bourgeois chattering onanists with their fair reform agendas won’t get anywhere until First-Past-The-Post as an 18th Century rotten borough approach is dumped once and for all.

Both the Labour and Tory leaderships are committed to the New World Order. It’s only a matter of time before “Human” Rights are sacrificed to the transhuman Bots – whose job will be to explain in the best possible taste why this is a time to shut up and unite against that ghastly Mr Rasputin.

What goes up must come down

Bear with me while I try to explain how British culture has changed in my lifetime: how, in fact, it has tried to overlay pc drivel on what was always a tricky social quicksand in the first place….but is now suffused with affected values doomed to subject us all to multicultural resentment and – perhaps inevitably – compliance with the dreaded New Normal.

After the Second Word War, there were three potentially hyper-influential class groups in the UK: the working class imbued with some desire for self-improvement; the State bureaucrats; and the professional “public school” educated upper middle class whose children seemed unable to speak without a drawl that began with eee-oww, whose acquiescence with a viewpoint was pronounced “ears” [‘yes’] and who used odd emphases such as “perfectly ghastly”.

When Labour won a landslide victory in 1945, ever-adaptable British Civil Servants helped the socialists create public health, pension and educational systems. There were public schools already but they were really private. There were the new
Grammar Schools working very hard to achieve private school standards, but they were of course public.

As we were the first major power to banish the fear of medical bills, old age penury and illiteracy, we Brits were immensely proud of these achievements. Even the haute bourgeoisie joined in the celebration of State ingenuity and care, albeit still referring to themselves as “the middle class”, in line with all things British being understated.

To be “top class” you see is vulgar if you’re British: our role in life back then was to lose 5-4 in the semi-finals and leave the field of play having the manners to applaud the victorious opposition. It was all about incompetent gallantry (‘Cannons to the left of ‘em, cannons to the right of ‘em.’)

“We’re all socialists now” insisted every House of Commons MP. By 1958 [when I passed the 11-plus exam precociously early to go to Grammar School] I quickly discovered that mine had a four hundred year-old history as a private School that had educated the infamous Clive of India and was thus now neither a public nor a private school…..in the new socialist paradise, it was – naturally – a State school.

You may think as a foreigner that you speak English-English; but in all honesty, you don’t.

Oddly enough, while that situation persisted, we have never been [since 1940] so nationally united as we were when Prime Minister Macmillan declared in 1961, “You’ve never had it so good”.

This bloodless educational coup led to to an explosion of working class talent across the board of pure and performing arts among those who justifiably counted themselves as the output of previously dead-end working class origins. It produced a fortune in valuable exports that started with the Beatles and went all the way across the full gamut of creative expression from Richard Burton, Laurence Harvey, Shelagh Delaney, David Hockney, David Bailey, Albert Finney, and Alan Sillitoe to all points in the direction of Alan Bennett.

Very few people looking from the outside in really have the faintest idea just how profound the effect of all this was on the morals, thinking, civics and common sense of the under thirties baby boomers. In truth, it was the beginning of daft ideas and anti-social behaviours.

“If it feels good, do it” led to an explosion in drug misuse in the UK, and the Manson crazies who slaughtered Sharon Tate.

“Tune in, turn on and drop out” was equally dangerous for many I knew at Liverpool University who flunked out and left with a poor Third.

Kids from “respectable” southern Counties family backgrounds waved Mao’s Little Red Book at everyone: very few of the wavers had actually read the bloody thing. One of these auto-didacts of my aquaintance went on to become the head of Currency Valuation studies at the Bank of England.

“LSD sets you free” was another one. “Hash is the American Dream” was the only one that ecapsulated the stupidity of it all with – if nothing else – a degree of wit: “The American Dream is so dumb, you have to be stoned to believe in it”.

It was the era of the brainless slogan.

“Kill a pig”. “Wear a flower in your hair”. “Ah have a dream”.

Looking back now, a lot of this has the ideological content that leads directly to ‘Arbeit macht frei’. There is an insistence within every diktat that obedience will bring its own reward.

Almost everyone was affected by the relatively small minority who were “turning on”, uttering banalities like, “It’s all so beautiful Man, like, the colours, you know?” Virtually every regular group of friends had one crazy: even the Beatles had Magic Alex ‘the fixer’, the Rolling Stones had Hells Angels as minders. During Christmas 1969, while at a wing-ding in Manchester shortly after graduation, I was availing myself of the facilities. The graffiti above the urinal said, “The Sixties end tomorrow – get clean, get your hair cut and get a job”.

It was entirely apt. In a single decade, the UK leapt from 1914 to 1970. The class system appeared to have been abolished: the young lions were breaking all the rules, homosexuality had been legalised, women were burning bras, an England footie team were World Champions and first Celtic and then Manchester United won the European Cup, and I had a beautiful Liverpool-Chinese girlfriend.

Importantly, the 1960s University graduates were crammed with Champagne firebrand socialists whose idols were Arthur Scargill, Tony Benn, Mao Tse Tung and Leon Trotsky. Both the TUC and the Labour Party lurched to the Left, engaging in a veritable tsunami of wildcat strikes and turning towards the harder edged ideologies of Stalinists like Militant and Ken Livingstone. Among London’s chattering classes it became frightfully hip to hate the recently elected Conservative leader Margaret Thatcher, and like all delusional ideologues, Labour went into the 1979 election with such a crypto Communist manifesto, former Chancellor and committed social democrat Denis Healey called it “….the longest suicide note in British electoral history”.

Thatcher romped home, and once the awful Tony Blair had stitched Gordon Brown up to snatch the “New Labour” relaunch, the game became, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”.

Margaret Thatcher was a terrible judge of character with a weakness for villains and a profoundly destructive streak. She over-reached herself with the Poll Tax, and clung onto the crazy idea that, if her administration completely deregulated Bourse banking, the innate honesty of bankers would shine through.

By contrast, the pathological liar Anthony St John Cottage-Loiterer Bluuuererr did not feel trapped by any principles or beliefs at all. He was successful as a sort of left wing Tory and fake Liberal with some Socialist-lite salt to sprinkle over the tasteless gruel Dubya Bush gave us all to eat during the WOMD Shock-and-Awe psy-op fantasy.

When Gordon Brown blackmailed Blair into Early Retirement – and the PR man David Cameron formed a coalition having said he wanted to be the ‘heir to Blair’ – was I think the moment at which the thinking end of the UK electorate gave up and decided “There is no longer much of a point to any of this crap”.

This has been exacerbated by blatant Whitehall and Westminster’s glaring infidelity to the extent that our electorate segments as follows:

This Sunak Tory Government works solely for New World Order business globalism

The wannabe Starmer Administration to come will work primarily for World Economic Foundation aims, the World Health Organisation, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund

I don’t want either alternative, so I won’t vote

All these micro Parties in the middle represent a political Amateur Night, so I won’t vote for any of them either.

This leads me to the inevitable conclusion that UK General Election Year 2024 will see the biggest abstention in our electoral history.

All that’s required for the death of liberty and democracy is for the People to feel so alienated from the political, diplomatic, secret State and administrative classes, they’ll happily comply with the lunacy because [so they believe] they’ll feather their own nests and piss in ours no matter what we do.

G K Chesterton famously wrote in 1912, ‘The citizens only change to a looser set of cultural rules because they can no longer live up to the old ones’.

I really don’t want to waste any more words on this subject. Simply go to Wikipedia’s page about who is in the Government and Shadow Executives of, for starters, the US Administration, the Westminster Cabinet, the supreme powers in Brussels and the French National Assembly.

What an absolute shower of online scammers, employer cheats, tax evaders, perverts, corrupt contract awarders, media liers, mother-fuckers, thickies, tertiary dementia sufferers and bought-plus-paid-for Caligulas they all are.

I close with a very helpful link from my colleague Amy Boone. For over five years now I’ve been trying to tap up some of my old cronies in the UK’s market research agencies….but an Iron Curtain has been thrown onto the staged performance and all the data geeks are suffocating underneath it: information about any and all general socio-cultural views, concerns and behaviours is being done, but nobody in the profession wants to talk about it.

Not so in the US, where two thirds of the electorate taking part in a Rassmussen Poll survey told interviewers that Bonkers Biden is using the FBI “as his own personal Gestapo” to position Trump as a perverter of Free Speech [disapproved] but the hard core of US DNC Yankee doodle dandies [less than 35 per cent] think Trump and should go to jail and never again pick up his $200 on the monopoly board [heartily approved].

So now you know the sheer magnitude of the task facing the wannabe ballot-stuffing, Justice bending, Trump-punching character assassins out to establish long-term Mussolini-style totalitarian ideological inflexibility by calling it Progressive liberalism.

Citizen apathy is by far the most effective weapon these swine can fall back on. Once more, those of us who put a libertarian press (and the legislature’s right to critique the Executive) way above counterfeit political terminology and “New Normality” settled science claptrap wish only to point out when bad zero-percent-empiricist science is in league with mad 100-per-cent ideological science.

Nice fluffy alchemy may be comforting for the Flat Earthers and Apollo Mission deniers, but it’ll never add up to the Open Minds we all need.

Today is FA Cup Final Day at Wembley, and it’s United v City again. I do not expect victory for the Boys in Red. I first began supporting Manchester United sixty-eight years ago, but at the moment City are in the ascendency.

By 5 pm this afternoon local time, I rather suspect I’ll be drowning my sorrows. What I won’t be doing is pretending we won 10-0 if we lose 5-0.

Perhaps that’s what this post has really been all about.
