1. Nice to see James Lindsay discussing the other totalitarian threat to the West, and accurately. That threat being Islam obviously. Actually its nice to see a general and more accurate understanding of Islam, as well as a more accurate threat assessment making it to the public consciousness as well as to people like Elon Musk and others near that altitude.

2. I think most of us who read this site have been trying to figure out the orientation of the New Hungarian government. There was a lot of confusion at first, and a lot of hope that they were actually to the right of Orban. Unfortunately after 3 months the jury is back and its bad news.

Fidesz Calls for Major Protest Against Hungary’s Authoritarian Shift

It’s been less than three months since the last parliamentary election in Hungary, and the country is already caught up in an unprecedented constitutional crisis. 

While the new pro-Brussels government, led by PM Péter Magyar’s Tisza party, is throwing the rule of law and democratic norms out of the window to cement its power, the national conservative opposition party Fidesz has begun mobilizing supporters to fight back on the streets.

“Tisza crosses every boundary—human, moral, and rule-of-law. Hungarian voters did not give a mandate for this. Let us not let them! Demonstration on Thursday at 6 p.m., in front of the presidential palace,” wrote Fidesz leader and former PM Viktor Orbán on Facebook on Monday, July 6th.

The planned protest is specifically against a series of fast-tracked constitutional amendments that the Tisza government submitted to the Parliament, including measures to forcibly remove and replace the president of the republic, as well as the president of the Constitutional Court, along with several judges, before the end of their mandates. 

The changes would also retroactively limit the mandates of members of parliament to three terms or 12 years, a move completely unprecedented in Europe, clearly designed to eliminate about half of all right-wing opposition MPs.

“We consider these proposals scandalous. This is the tenth parliamentary term since the regime change [of 1989]; the government has held a two-thirds majority on six occasions, yet no one has ever abused their power to change the constitution in this manner,” said Gergely Gulyás, the leader of Fidesz’s parliamentary faction on Monday while announcing the protest. 

Personally we tend to believe that any law with retroactive powers is totalitarian. One cannot make that which happened in the past illegal. At least not in a society based on truth and reality. 3. AAaaaaannnnd here it comes. The end of the sexual deviation groups’ alliance with Islam as mutual weapons of destruction against the West. Now that Islam has the kind of foothold it needs, it is starting to enforce its own ethos on Canadian society. I guess this means CSIS will take the pride flag down soon as well.

Canadian schools in areas with large Islamic populations are already starting to cut music programs left right and centre. Although mostly left. There is zero public statements that this is to appease Muslim parents that do not want their children, not only not to have music education, as that is totally haram western culture, but also do not want it in the school at all. Much like how they managed to make all the food Halal in many cases. Discussing it with people in education, when asked if it’s because of Islamic parents that the music programs are reduced or cut or otherwise attenuated, the staffer will look like a rabbit in car headlights. And be about as coherent.

None. But they show up in spades and their Sunday best when regular Canadians of any stripe other than Muslims protest the spaying and neutering of their children in the dialectical name of “Trans-Affirming-Care”. We have to understand this is a communist revolution, and it is being done by dialectics. It is central to the issue. We don’t use the word because we like it. We use the word because an understanding of it is critical if one wishes to know what is going on and how in order hopefully to slow it down and reverse it.

It is no accident that the media was not there. it is not like they were not told. And now the results are in.

Ottawa public school board will not participate in Capital Pride Parade in August

Ottawa’s largest school board will not be participating in the Capital Pride Parade this summer because it’s not happening during the school year.

The Capital Pride Parade is held in late August to honour the 1971 We Demand Rally, the first-ever protest in Canada advocating for LGBT rights. This year’s Capital Pride Parade will be held on Aug. 30 at 1 p.m.

A spokesperson for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) tells CTV News Ottawa the Capital Pride festival falls outside of the school year for students and staff.

“During the month of June, the OCDSB recognizes Pride Month in our schools. Pride Month is about education, celebrating diversity, and fostering inclusive spaces that prevent bullying, homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia so that all students and staff feel valued and that they belong,” the OCDSB said.

“The City of Ottawa recognizes Pride during the month of August with public events planned for the last week of August. These events do not fall within the school year for our students and staff.”

Importantly:

“In previous years, hundreds of OCDSB students, staff and families walked or rode the yellow school bus, demonstrating our commitment to creating safer and more accepting spaces,” the OCDSB said on its website on July 30, 2025.

And the new communist state will now begin to dismantle the machinery it built to destroy Classical Canada and bin its useful idiots.

And if ever there was a proof that with the left, the point is never the point, the revolution is always the point, this is it. Those who may gloat or be satisfied that school boards are no longer pimping for perversity, or as we see it, pushing any form of non-reproductive sexual activity, should understand that it was never about that. It was about using alt.sexuality to destroy normalcy or anything healthy for civilization. Once the weapon has done its job, or a better weapon gains traction, like Islam, then the old weapons get shelved.

4. One of the dozen or so posts like this I have seen in the last 24 hours without even looking for them.

Hypothetically only, an ethical question for everyone here.

Let’s say that your own state brought in millions of people who have fundamentally different values from you. They frequently attacked or otherwise committed crimes against your person or property etc. Your own state also tilted the legal system against you, reducing punishment, often to nothing for your attackers, but applying the full force of the law, and even enacting new laws against you for defending yourselves and for even speaking out from a position of authority, or even just on social media such as in the UK today on these matters, for naming the problem factually.

At what point does the cost benefit to you as an individual create a new decision about how you will conduct your lives in any number of ways? Better put, at what point do you factor in the reality of your situation in your decision making process rather than what you are told to believe and to do? Such as not defend yourself as one example?

The fact that Geert Wilders’ party was elected with a large number of seats compared to most Dutch elections and that Geert is not the PM and that the policies for which he was elected have not been enacted and he has been totally ineffective in the Netherlands is a very powerful sign of how Western governments are Potemkin at best.
