Carney uses jingoistic language to continue the 2 Minutes of Hate against Donald Trump and now the USA: Links post 1 for Aug. 24, 2026

1. It looks like Carney is using a little of the old, Soros reflexivity to keep himself powerful. Try and push trump into a strong reaction to his anti-civilizational policies, and then weaponize Trump’s response in order to keep Canadians hating on Trump and America, and thusly blaming the looming catastrophe of the Canadian economy on the US instead of where it belongs. Which is the guy who said he was going to do all this to Canadians in his own book!

4. This is an unrelated PSA to our issues. But the advice in terms of handling scam calls is worth it. This is becoming a major problem. The only question remains, why are the call centres still in India and not in Toronto at this point.

There is a Canadian expert on Islam that actually has at least part of the answer as to how to deal with it, and by that I mean all other systems of organization, law, culture and so on, can protect itself from islam. Her name Is Elaine Ellinger. She has written a few books on the subject but a recent one has an excellent review which she herself republished in full as it has a good synopsis of the thesis in brief.
We will be hearing a lot more about her soon. But for the moment, those interested in Islam, and more importantly perhaps, in mitigating it, may want to buy her book, The Deen Fallacy.

Elaine Ellinger’s The Deen Fallacy examines a foundational error in Western thinking: the classification of Islam as a religion in the conventional Western sense. Ellinger argues that Islam identifies itself as a deen—a comprehensive system governing belief, law, politics, economics, warfare, family relations, personal conduct, and social order. Translating deen as “religion” did more than obscure the meaning of a word. It caused Western governments and institutions to place Islam in the wrong legal and analytical category.

The manuscript’s central argument is clear:

Mistranslation produced misclassification. Misclassification produced defective policy.

This proposition gives the manuscript its unity, originality, and force.

A Clear and Consequential Thesis

The manuscript begins with the correct orienting question: What did Mohammed establish?

Ellinger demonstrates that Mohammed was not solely a preacher or spiritual teacher. He acted as legislator, judge, military commander, diplomat, tax collector, head of state, and supreme legal authority. His decisions addressed worship, but they also governed warfare, criminal justice, commerce, inheritance, marriage, taxation, treaties, and relations with non-Muslims (Ellinger, 2026, pp. 2–4).
