What Do The Signs In The Sun, Moon and Stars Tell Us?

In the beginning before the arise of modern civilization a solar eclipse meant the end of the world for pagan people’s and blood sacrifices were needed to appease pagan gods and give validity of the king or chieftain over his tribe.

We are told by the archaeologist about human sacrifices which took place in the Mayan civilization in Mexico and the human sacrifices which the pagans performed in Canaan. 

We see in the Bible Joshua asking God to stop the sun and moon in the sky for nearly 24 hours so Joshua could destroy the power of five Canaanite kings. (Joshua 10:12-14)

Egyptian prince Akenaton must have witnessed this powerful event for when Akenaton became king he abolished the worship of all other gods so the solar sun god Aton alone would be worshipped.

On the night Jesus Christ was born a bright star appeared in the night sky in which the three wiseman had followed to honor and worship him.

Out of Arabia the pagan tribes worshipped their moon-god Allah. Take one look at the flags of many Muslim nations and you will discover their banner is the moon.

The signs in the sun, moon and stars should not be taken lightly. (Luke 21:25-26) Before the arise of modern civilization the signs in the sky meant impending doom. Has anything really changed in these last days? At the time of Joshua the signs in the sky represented a war which Joshua destroyed all his enemies that one special day. Do the four blood red moons tell us there is a future war coming in which Israel will destroy all her enemies in one day?

Some Jews believe the signs are about the Ezekiel Gog/Magog war and the messiah’s victory over Israel’s enemies while some Christians see after the Gog/Magog war there will be the arise of the wicked anti-Christ and what a bad omen that brings to all mankind.
