Local businessman and philanthropist Kevin Bupp and event sponsor Outspokin Bikes will be holding the ‘72 Hours to Key West’ Charity Bike Ride taking place Friday, October 31, 2014 to Sunday, November 2nd 2014.

Ft. Myers Beach, Florida will come alive with a record attendance of 55 cyclists from around the country participating in the 280 mile, 3-day charity bike ride traveling South to tropical and sunny Key West, FL. Riders will experience the lush tropical Florida landscape, the Miccosukee Native-American Reserve and cross the pristine waters of the Florida Keys over breathtaking bridge spans including the famous Seven-Mile Bridge.

Both Bupp and ’72 Hours to Key West’ Charity Bike Ride sponsor, Outspokin Bikes, are from Pinellas County. They are pleased to be a part of bringing the Tiny Hands Foundation’s Holiday Basket Brigade into their home county to support 150 community families in need during this holiday season. Outspokin Bikes not only plays a major role in making the charity bike ride a reality, but they are also acting as a pickup location for the Holiday Basket Brigade on Sunday December 21st, 2014.

Since 2001, Rod Khleif’s Tiny Hands Foundation has led initiatives benefiting over 25,000 less-fortunate children and families throughout Florida. The 2014 Holiday Basket Brigade goal is to assemble and deliver 1,500 food and toy baskets to unsuspecting recipients across Florida. Tiny Hands reaches out to many single parent households as well as the community elderly in need. The baskets will be delivered this year in Pinellas County on Sunday, December 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Interested parties can sponsor a family with $30 to cover food and toys, can send donations, or can volunteer to help assemble the baskets to meet this year’s goals. To register or donate to the event please go to http://tinyhandsfoundation.org

The Tiny Hands Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
