Historic day for Britain as it voted to leave the European Union after 43 years of membership!

I must say that I’m actually pleasantly surprised! Never thought a European member country could actually leave the EU Union let alone Britain.

The British people took the right descision, sure the markets are in turmoil but this can’t be blamed on the Brexit victory. For the economic woes were already present since 2008.

Many articles were written about the coming collapse, frankly I don’t think the brexit will cause a financial collapse. It will be a Lehman type event in the derivatives sector or the FX currency markets which will happen at the end of the summer or during fall of 2016.

People are going to realize that all the “financial recovery” reported by the mass media was just hot air! Gold and silver are going to surge through the stratosphere. This is certainly a positive developpement!

Having said that change will not occur instantly: article 50 has to be invoked to start the process of leaving the European Union which may take some years depending on how it will be implemented.

I applaud the courage of the brittons who took their destiny into their own hands!
