Festival of Trees presents Latin Nights, dance party for everyone
ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2019) – The merriest season of the year is here and longtime holiday favorite, Festival of Trees is back! This year, as in the past years it’s Latin Nights Party will wrap up Festival of Trees with a very merry festive food & dance party!
At Latin Nights, you’ll be able to:
- Watch Dance Orlando’s stunning Flamenco dancers perform
- Party with a traditional Mariachi band
- Rock out to a live DJ playing your favorite tunes and the top Hispanic hits

“Latin Night is always a fun and festive way to bring the evening events of Festival of Trees to a close,” said Nancy Sedacca, President of the Council of 101. “From music to entertainment to food, we have everything to truly enjoy the holiday spirit with a flair.”
Latin Nights will take place from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22. Tickets are $45 and available for purchase here
The Festival of Trees, now in its 33rd year, will run from Saturday, Nov. 16 to Sunday, Nov. 24. Guests will be able to wander the halls of Orlando Museum of Art and be transported into a winter wonderland. Designer Christmas trees, elaborate gingerbread houses and stunning vignettes will all be displayed for guests to admire and purchase.
Council 101’s mission is to raise money for the Orlando Museum of Art and life-long learning programs. Through events like Festival of Trees and Art in Bloom, the group has been able to contribute over $12 million to these causes.

The Council of 101 was founded in 1965 to further the cultural development and appreciation of the visual arts in Central Florida. Today, this outstanding group of volunteers comprises an organization of nearly 300 women. These dedicated members devote countless volunteer hours, boundless energy and strong personal skills to annual fund-raising projects that provide significant financial support to the Orlando Museum of Art. This level of support is achieved through the Festival of Trees and the Antiques Vintage & Garden Show projects. The Council of 101 purchases, through the Corporate Lease Program, Museum-quality prints created by contemporary American artists and gifts them to the Orlando Museum of Art. Prints from this collection may be leased by local businesses through the program administered by the Council of 101. The Council of 101, since its inception, has contributed over $12 million towards art, exhibits, facility renovation and Orlando Museum of Art’s operating expenses.
