The New York Police Department is busy preparing for one of the largest events in the world.

Times Square in New York is expected to be packed with more than a million people on Tuesday, to countdown to 2020 and the iconic crystal ball dropping. For many people, this is the New Year’s Eve party.

The NYPD says that so far, there have not been any credible threats to the event—or New York in general.

The cops will have multiple layers of protection to keep the crowd safe.
