Aiper Pool Cleaner Fire: House Severely Damaged, Investigations Ongoing
California, October 17, 2024 – A devastating fire that broke out last night caused severe damage to a California homeowner’s property, believed to have been caused by an Aiper rechargeable lithium-ion pool cleaner. The device, designed to clean the bottom of swimming pools, reportedly caught fire, causing significant destruction to the back half of the house, including the homeowner’s office. The entire house will now require extensive repairs and the family will not be able to return for several months.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the homeowner has indicated that legal action against AIPER, the manufacturer, is being considered. “There will be investigations and lawsuits,” he stated firmly in a post on Facebook.
As of today, the owner has commenced the clean-up process but has requested that his privacy be respected and that he should not be approached unless he is actively looking for assistance in the recovery.
