Hair loss can be temporary or permanent and it is not possible to count the amount of hair lost on daily basis. Anybody can lose hair but it is more common in men. Baldness also result from excessive hair loss from the scalp. New hair are replaced by the lost hair but this does not always happen.

If you use various forms of gels and styling products, they can be harmful and cause hair loss so you should not use such products because there are many chemicals in these products that stay on the scalp and become trapped in the follicles and then prevent the hair from coming to the surface.
