Daily Haze: Week 5 Waiver Wire

If you watched the Breaking Bad finale last night instead of Falcons-Patriots, you missed the boring part of the football game. It was like they knew people weren’t watching.

I switched over after BB and it got interesting. First because the Patriots were pulling away from the Dirty Birds (I hate the Falcons). And second because the Falcons recovered an onside-kick and made a valiant comeback attempt.

THAT FAILED.

It was glorious. Onto the waiver wire for Week 5!

I guess the new coach/system is really working out for this guy.

Running Backs

Roy Helu, Redskins
He was roster-able as a stash before this weekend. Now with Alfred Morris banged up, he’ll be in demand off the wire.

Kendall Hunter, 49ers
If you own Frank Gore, must-own. Otherwise, still roster-able if you have the room.

Rashad Jennings, Raiders
Darren McFadden got hurt. Shocker.

LeGarrette Blount, Patriots
I really don’t want to own him, but the Patriots are using him. So I’ll put him on the list.

Andre Ellington, Cardinals
Stash.

Chris Polk, Eagles
Stash.

Wide Receivers

Justin Blackmon, Jaguars
Coming back to the starting lineup from suspension. This team is always behind, so garbage time points.

Robert Woods, Bills
Don’t like rookie WRs but stash if you want to take a flier on a promising WR.

Kenbrell Thompkins, Patriots
Wish he would have started the year like this, because I originally owned him in two leagues. #rookieWR

Tight Ends

Heath Miller, Steelers
Getting healthier. Steelers will play from behind a lot this year it seems.
