Federal Reserve Freaks Out Over Audit

The Federal Reserve is clamoring to shut down legislation that would allow the American people to take a look at its books.
Last month Kentucky Senator Rand Paul introduced his Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2015. It has a number of co-sponsors, including Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida.
If passed, the legislation would direct the Comptroller General of the United States to conduct a full audit of the Fed.
The Fed, naturally, hates the bill. It says if enacted, it will damage the economy.
How would it damage the economy? Paul’s plan would empower Congress “to audit and question monetary policy decisions in real time,” laments Philadelphia Fed President Charles Plosser.
“This runs the risk of monetary policy decisions being based on short-term political considerations instead of the longer-term health of the economy,” he added.
For the Fed, the “health of the economy” consists “of flooding the economy with easy money, leading to a misallocation of resources and an artificial ‘boom’ followed by a recession or depression when the Fed-created bubble bursts,” according to Rand Paul’s father, former Congressman Ron Paul who, incidentally, worked unsuccessfully to abolish the Federal Reserve, not merely audit it.
“Who in their right mind would ask the Congress of the United States — who can’t cobble together a fiscal policy — to assume control of monetary policy?” the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Richard Fisher, asked The Hill.

The law required that an Adult be done I seem to remember every 10 years, (not one has ever been done), Rend Paul is a Pud nothing more he will not hold the Fed Res, to account any more than hold the Obamanation to account, but the Stupids will hold him up as a great savior, he is just another gov-jew owned Pud. Close the Federal Reserve and turn the monetary and fiscal policy back to the Treasury and the Congress!
Ride down on the Fed’s operational centers and confiscate all paper work and all communications and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

If our currency were fungible (look it up) it would have inherent stability. Our currency MUST be ACTUAL PHYSICAL PRECIOUS METALS. Congress can’t print gold and silver.

if you look at the price of silver and devide that into your pay check you will see how much american money you make and its probably close to 1913 wages or maybe the 20s . the silver dollar stays constant because its weight the federal reserve dollar fluxuates so its not constant. so what do you think is better, money that is constant decause its valued by weight or money that is faith based not backed with anything but the faith you have in it.

Congress does not need additional legislation to investigate the Fed. The FRBNY has statutory exclusive authority to disburse funds from their auctions of Treasury securities and any related functions they wish to claim. Ref. 31 USC #375.3. The GAO has standing authority to audit ANY movement of government funds such as this. The client accounts currently handle $15 trillion annually and have never been audited. They have been analyzed to ‘disappear’ $20 billion weekly. Any congressional committee can direct the GAO to audit the auction accounts.
