MARKET WRAP FOR EQUITY

·         Indian market ends significantly up; Nifty was up 93 pts, Sensex up 276 pts.

·         Britain’s CPI y/y came at 4.2% vs 4.2% while RPI y/y came at 4.8% vs. 4.7%.

·         European markets were green with DAX leading; Dow future was up 118 pts.

The markets made robust gains today with all sectoral indices closing in the green. The rally was primarily led by large cap counters. Nifty was up 93 pts at 4967 & Sensex up 276 pts to settle at 16466. Euro markets were green with DAX up 106 pts at 6325, CAC up 41 pts at 3266 and FTSE up 41 pts at 5698. Dow Futures was up 118 pts at 12508.
