As a representation of the overall US market I use the DJIA, traders should be aware of the support and resistance levels and avoid the choppy markets, I know that’s easier said than done. This week there will be a lot of news that active traders need to be fully aware of. Ever been in a position that went against you further than you ever anticipated in a matter of seconds? Try routinely trading while Bernanke is speaking, imho, it’s not worth the ulcer. Trading after the news has broke allowing the market to digest the news is not the same as trading news, that’s taking advantage of when the market makes up it’s mind about a direction.
