Hollywood Media Lawsuit Settled with AMC

As you know, I have written about Hollywood Media many times. The stock price has been flatlined for two years because the lawsuit between Hollywood Media and AMC has been dragging on for so long. The case was scheduled to go to trial today, November 13, 2013, and was supposed to last 10 days as shown below.

Well, the case was just settled.

At this point, the terms of the settlement are unknown, but I suspect that the news about it will be coming out shortly. A few investors who are following the story are already finding out about the settlement and the stock price is soaring. It is understandable because the stock is very illiquid and even a small number of investors competing against one another in a buying frenzy can send the stock price higher.
