The Daily Dab: A Quick Hit On Cannabis Stocks 12/12/13

Cannabis stocks were generally higher, with the notable exception of the largest company in the sector by market cap:

GrowLife (PHOT) matched its 52-week high on strong volume. Rob Hunt, President of GrowLife Hydroponics, will be participating in a live webinar on Monday, December 16th (free registration).  GW Pharma (GWPH) posted its 10th straight lower low but managed to rally slightly on below average volume.  The strongest performer was Medical Marijuana, Inc. (MJNA), which bounced back from recent declines on relatively low volume.

MediSwipe (MWIPD), which effected its 10 for 1 reverse split yesterday, gave up most of its gains from yesterday.  Cannabis Science (CBIS) posted a 52-week low before recovering to close unchanged.  Medbox (MDBX), the largest company in the space based on the fully-diluted sharecount, had its lowest close of the year as volume remains above the one-month average.  Medbox founder and COO Vincent Mehdizadeh will be appearing on iCannabisRadio.com on 12/23 at 5PM EST to discuss the company’s challenges and opportunities.  If you have any questions that you would like answered, please email them to [email protected].  Mehdizadeh felt that a prior show (from 12/2) unfairly represented the company’s business.  The discussion from that show begins at 0:28:30.
