The Daily Dab: A Quick Hit On Cannabis Stocks 12/30/13

With legal cannabis in Colorado just a day away, cannabis stocks enjoyed a huge rally:

Peoplestring (PLPE) is a new name added to this list recently.  The stock continued its explosive rally.  The company is changing its name to Vape Holdings and will soon trade under the symbol “VAPE”.  The stock, which was mentioned in this article published last week,  has blasted up almost 20X over the past two months.   Medbox (MDBX) bounced again after its  second-lowest close of the year on Thursday.  Medical Marijuana, Inc. (MJNA) saw the best volume in a month and broke through the declining 50dma.   Cannabis Sciences (CBIS) too saw a big bounce on heavy volume. Terra Tech (TRTC) had its best close in almost two weeks.   CEO Derek Peterson participated in a live webinar on Wednesday, December 18th (slides and recording).    GrowLife (PHOT) reversed after an early sell-off that followed news of a pending vote to increase the A/S from 1 billion to 3 billion.  The stock is up more than 250% in 2013, by far the best performer.  Rob Hunt, President of GrowLife Hydroponics participated in a webinar on Monday, December 16th.  You can view the 90-minute presentation and Q&A or a 8-minute synopsis.  GW Pharma (GWPH) posted a 52-week high.   

mCig (MCIG) posted strong volume again and extended its range but ended lower.  It is still up more than 100% since the lows in November.    Nuvilex (NVLX) had its lowest close since July as volume accelerated.  AVT, Inc. (AVTC) closed near a 52-week low.
