Key Considerations For Cannabis Stock Investors

Volume receded as profit-taking kicked back in across the cannabis sector:

Advanced Cannabis Solutions (CANN) was the leader, as investors bid up the shares in front of next week’s Arcview meeting in Las Vegas, where the company will present.  CFO Chris Taylor is also scheduled as a guest on iCannabisRadio on Monday.  CEO Robert Frichtel shared his vision in an interview last month.  Medical Marijuana, Inc. (MJNA) traded in the green all day, with volume dipping.  GW Pharma (GWPH) posted a new high but the usual dollar-volume leader was only the fourth most actively-traded.

Vape Holdings (PLPED) plunged on increased volume as the company’s capital structure following a recent acquisition of HIVE Ceramics was clarified.  Despite the decline from a high near 44 last week, the stock trades at 20X its level from just two months ago.  Medbox (MDBX) was one of the most actively traded stocks in terms of dollar volume, retracing prior day gains.  Terra Tech (TRTC) filled a gap left behind in yesterday’s rally, with volume slightly above its 30-day average but down from the prior day.  Creative Edge Nutrition (FITC) filed its annual disclosure for the year ending 9/30/13 and posted a large increase in the shares outstanding.
