You Either Have “It” or You Don’t

You cannot learn to “It” You either have it or you don’t. I just sent out an update letter to my clients and it has now been long four years of nothing but constant pain. Here is a response that I received from one person.

This is the first bear market that I have experienced since I started investing, and I have to say, it really is a joke how easy it is psychologically to keep adding money. I see it like this, if my entire portfolio goes down 50%, that doubles the impact that each additional contribution I make has on my portfolio. That’s huge. In the past few months, I have cut down on expenses everywhere I can, so I can put as much as possible into the miners. I have driven the same car since I was 17 and am delaying getting another car as long as I possibly can. Pretty much the only thing I have yet to do is start cutting my own hair, and I’ll probably start doing that soon. The majority of people just don’t understand what it takes to make real money investing. As to why that is, I don’t know and I don’t care.
