Democrats to Win the Midterm?

Tonight the polls, tomorrow around 11:00 am HK, the results. I believe the Democrats will win Congress. The midterm seems to be boiling down to this: will the new batch voters (women and those thirty & under) overcome the evangelical vote?

The Democrats have to find an additional 23 seats, i.e. take them from the Republicans while holding their own. Cook political has produced a study of the 75 House seats that will hold the key. In the Senate, there are six seats to watch:

Arizona
Florida
Indiana
Montana
Nevada
Tennessee

The expectations are for the Dems to win the House and the Repubs to win the Senate. I’m looking for the Dems to win both – perhaps by only 1-3 seats but that will be enough. If the Dems to win control, expect the US stock market to have a heart attack.

If the Republicans win both, expect a monster rally. One each? Perhaps a couple of days sideways.
