Pig Wrestling

Yesterday, I said today I’d answer the question: how to overcome our hard wiring so we can make our trading dreams come true?

(Apologies, I’m making this a short piece because I’ve been down with the flu and have had a full day. Need to get my beauty rest).

Let me pose this question to you: what is the first step you would take to overcome the hurdles to your success? Write down the answer before reading on.

Usually, when I ask the question in class, few get the answer I want.

The first thing? You define the core problem – accurately!

Only then do we seek solutions.

The best process I know to do this is contained in a 2017 book called: Pig Wrestling.  It’s relatively inexpensive  (USD 13 Amazon paperback). Great value!

I’ve attached a chart of the process taken from the book. I can’t recommend too strongly its purchase, so you get to understand the process thoroughly.

And why do the authors call the Pig Wrestling? Because the process solves a ‘pig of a problem’! See the pic below for a definition – doesn’t the definition accurately describe the trader’s dilemma?
