IronRidge Resources hits more high-grade gold at Zaranou

IronRidge Resources Ltd (LON:IRR) has hit more high-grade gold at its Zaranou gold license in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa. The company took 324 reconnaissance channel and rock-chip samples over primary hard-rock artisanal mining sites at Zaranou.

The results have helped the company define an 8km high-priority target zone.

Among the best channel sampling results were six metres grading 3.67 grams per tonne gold and three metres at 4.13grams.

High-grade rock-chip sampling results included grades at 69.6 grams per tonne, 48.8 grams and 25.3 grams.

The work goes a long way towards confirming the validity of historical data for the project.

An aircore drilling programme is now planned.
