Agile Therapeutics sets terms for $12 million public offering
Agile Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:AGRX), the women’s healthcare company, announced Friday that it expects to raise $12 million via the underwritten public offering it announced on Thursday.
The company said 12.6 million shares will be sold at $0.95 each, $0.16 lower than its closing share price on Thursday.
Agile’s shares fell back, accordingly, on Friday morning, dropping to $0.96.

On top of the shares being offered, Agile has granted its underwriters the option to purchase 1.9 million shares at the public offering price.
The offering is expected to close by August 6.
Agile Therapeutics is a Princeton, New Jersey-based healthcare company focused on forward-thinking women’s health care. Its lead product candidate, Twirla, is an investigational prescription contraceptive.
