WeedMD Inc (CVE:WMD) (OTCMKTS:WDDMF) has closed its previously announced convertible debenture offering, netting more than $13.1 million in proceeds.  The company sold convertible debenture units for $1,000 each in an offering led by Mackie Research Capital Corporation, according to a statement released Wednesday. The offering was originally worth $12 million, but the underwriters took advantage of a 15% over-allotment option to purchase another $1.15 million worth of units.

CROP Infrastructure Corp (CSE:CROP) (OTCMKTS:CRXPF) announced Wednesday that it has completed September site visits in Nevada with its consultants and joint-venture partners at the hemp and THC farms where weeds have caused major losses. The company said that despite the crop losses, it is preparing for an October harvest at other farming sites. After drone reconnaissance and sample plant counts were completed, CROP said that eight of 10 of its hemp pivots have been severely affected by invasive weeds. In several northern pivots, a herd of antelope also caused significant damage.

Klondike Gold Corp (CVE:KG) (OTCMKTS:KDKGF) updated Wednesday on drill results from its huge 576 sq km Klondike District property in Yukon, where its 2019 drill program has now ended. Today’s assays come from the Gay Gulch gold showing along the Eldorado Fault, where seven holes were sunk, following up from the 2015 drilling. This is one of several gold-bearing quartz vein showings dISCovered along the length of the fault.

FSD Pharma Inc (CSE:HUGE) (OTC:FSDDF) has signed a letter of intent to create a joint venture between its subsidiary FV Pharma Inc and World-Class Extractions Inc to operate a cannabis processing facility.  FSD and World-Class will each own 50% of the joint venture, which consists of a five-year lease agreement at FSD’s facility in Cobourg, Ontario beginning December 1. The plan is to extract cannabidiol (CBD) and other elements from cannabis and hemp plants.

Constantine Metal Resources Ltd (CVE:CEM) (OTCMKTS:CNSNF) told investors that its Palmer joint venture project in Alaska had been enhanced by the results of a step-out hole at its volcanogenic massive sulphide-sulphate (VMS) flagship property. The hole was sunk in the RW zone, an area the firm wants to show can be expanded as it was not included in the recent preliminary economic assessment (PEA).

Viscount Mining Corp (CVE:VML) (OTCMKTS:VLMGF) just got a little help pinpointing gold and silver targets at the Cherry Creek Mining District in Nevada this fall, thanks to a recently completed master’s thesis. The thesis, written by David Freedman at the University of Nevada, Reno, documents abundant hydrothermal mineralization  — metals such as gold or silver carried by hot water and deposited in rocks — and delves into the specific mineral occurrences.

The CEO will speak at CIBC’s Eastern Institutional Investor Conference on Thursday, September 26, the company said in a release. Stusek’s presentation will be webcast on ISC’s website live at 8:35am EST.
