Ozop Surgical Corp (OTCMKTS:OZSC), a spinal surgical device producer, on Wednesday provided an update on its partnership with Spinal Resources Inc.  In a statement, the company said it believes the license agreement with Florida-based Spinal Resources is “exceeding expectations.” In August, Ozop announced it will sell Spinal Resources’ Swedge product, an FDA-approved pedicle screw system used to grip segments of the spine connected by a transition rod.

Nabis Holdings Inc (CSE:NAB) (OTCMKTS:NABIF) has received regulatory approval to operate the assets of Perpetual Healthcare Inc’s Emerald Phoenix, a medical marijuana dispensary, and Infusion Edibles, a cannabis-infused snack brand.  The approval brings Nabis’ portfolio of operating licensing rights to a total of 11 entities across four states, including retail, cultivation and processing facilities. Arizona-based Emerald Phoenix and Infusion Edibles were both originally acquired in August. 

Japan Gold Corp (CVE:JG) updated shareholders Wednesday on the results of its recently held annual general meeting, which saw the exploration company appoint exploration manager Takashi Kuriyama as senior officer.  Kuriyama is a 42-year veteran of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co Ltd, serving in increasingly senior roles such as executive vice president of the company’s American subsidiary and managing director of Sumitomo Metal Mining Oceania Pty Ltd.

WeedMD Inc (CVE:WMD) (OTCMKTS:WDDMF) has secured a Health Canada licence amendment approval for its 50,000-square-foot facility in Strathroy, Ontario. The facility, built on the company’s 158-acre property will dry, process and cure all remaining outdoor cannabis grown in 2019. All told, the plant is capable of processing and storing more than 40 tons of dried cannabis biomass. “With the pace of our outdoor harvest now accelerating, this licence amendment comes at the perfect time,” CEO Keith Merker said in a statement.

HighGold Mining Inc (CVE:HIGH) updated on progress in Alaska, where it has now completed this year’s six-week exploration program and aims to produce a maiden resource estimate for the JT deposit at its flagship Johnson Tract project. The work saw the firm sink nine diamond drill holes for 2,247 meters at the main Johnson Tract deposit (JT deposit), as well as prospecting, geological mapping and geochemical sampling on numerous regional targets nearby.

TruTrace Technologies Inc (CSE:TTT) (OTCMKTS:TTTSF) announced Wednesday an exciting new partnership that sees the technology company expanding in the medical cannabis space. The Vancouver-based company is teaming up with leading telemedicine platform AdvancedCare to integrate its technologies for the healthcare industry. AdvancedCare gives healthcare businesses tools to securely conduct clinical trials, experiments and research studies in a single platform used by medical professionals.

EuroLife Brands Inc (CSE:EURO) (OTCMKTS:CANVF) revealed on Wednesday that it had hired merchant bank and advisory group JJ WOLF Investments Ltd to help it advance the cannabis-focused firm’s activity in Europe.  In a statement, the Vancouver-based company also said Steve Loutskou had resigned as chief operating officer (COO), secretary and director to take up a strategic advisory position in the company to streamline efficiencies.

Orgenesis Inc (NASDAQ:ORGS), a cell and gene therapy company, has signed a co-development agreement with cell analytics company Accellix Inc.  The agreement allows Orgenesis to integrate Accellix’s proprietary sampling and analysis technology — its optic system, cartridges, reagents and software  — into the company’s Point-of-Care (POCare) cellular therapy platform.

Fireweed Zinc Ltd (CVE:FWZ) has posted encouraging drill results from the first hole this year at the Boundary Zone in Yukon, which reveal the area could boost the Macmillan Pass project’s resources and economics.  The zone has the potential to be mined as an open pit with low strip ratio and low-cost ore sorting technology could be used, the firm said.

Energy Fuels Inc (TSE:EFR) (NYSEMKT:UUUU) on Wednesday reiterated its support for US President Donald Trump’s decision during the summer to review the domestic nuclear fuel supply chain.  That task has been undertaken by the US Nuclear Fuel Working Group, which will make recommendations to President Trump on how to reinvigorate domestic nuclear fuel production.  The group had originally planned to offer its recommendations on October 10 but that deadline has been extended by up to 30 days, according to media reports.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd (CSE:OILS) (OTMKTS:OILFF), the extraction technology company, revealed it has added a cannabis regulatory expert and former Health Canada inspector, Sherry Boodram, to its board. New director Dr Boodram is the co-founder and CEO of CannDelta Inc – a Toronto-based regulatory and scientific cannabis consulting company.  She provides regulatory expertise and develops strategies to ensure regulatory compliance within Canada’s existing legal cannabis framework.

Namaste Technologies Inc. (CVE:N) (OTCMKTS:NXTTF) announced Wednesday that Darren Gill, the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. The firm said it thanks Gill – who joined the company in October 2018 – for his service to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Blackrock Gold Corp. (CVE:BRC) announced that it has received $278,500 from the exercise of a total of 902,500 previously issued warrants at $0.20 each for proceeds of $180,500, plus 900,000 warrants which were exercised at $0.10 each for proceeds of $ 90,000 and 50,000 warrants exercised at $0.16 each for proceeds of $8,000. As a result of such exercises, the company said it currently has a total of 60,225,143 of common shares issued and outstanding.

Bragg Gaming Group (CVE:BRAG) (OTCMKTS:BRGGF) announced Wednesday that one of its executives has been recognized with a “Leader Under 40” award. Benny Bonsu, who heads up the GiveMeSport Women division of Bragg’s GiveMeSport subsidiary, was presented with the award at a recent ceremony held in London. The award, which recognizes achievements in the sports world, is chosen by a panel of over 100 leading figures in the sports industry.

Group Eleven Resources Corp (CVE:ZNG) has announced that the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation with respect to the non-brokered private placement announced on October 15, 2019. As a result, it said, 8.4 million shares will be issued at a purchase price of C$0.1199 cents per share, together with 4.2 million share purchase warrants at an exercise price C$0.24 cents for a three-year period, to the one placee, Glencore Canada.
