TruTrace partners with leading telemedicine platform AdvancedCare to integrate technologies

TruTrace Technologies Inc (CSE:TTT) (OTCMKTS:TTTSF) announced Wednesday an exciting new partnership that sees the technology company expanding throughout the medical cannabis space. 

The Vancouver-based company is teaming up with leading telemedicine platform AdvancedCare to integrate its technologies for the healthcare industry.

AdvancedCare gives healthcare businesses tools to securely conduct clinical trials, experiments and research studies in a single platform used by medical professionals.

Under the terms of the letter of intent, AdvancedCare will integrate TruTrace’s StrainSecure technology within its own platform to provide product data directly to medical professionals to ensure that medication has been verified and is safe to consume.

“We believe there are strong synergies between our respective technologies, and together we can offer significant value to the medical cannabis industry as we connect validated product data to clinical trials,” TruTrace CEO Robert Galarza said in a statement.

AdvancedCare’s CEO Nick Murray said that the company was “excited” to incorporate StrainSecure into its platform.

“Our vision is to combine the strengths of our products to help bring greater transparency and improved clinical outcomes to the legal cannabis industry,” Murray said.

StrainSecure is the first integrated blockchain platform to register and track intellectual property in the cannabis industry. 

TruTrace’s technology allows cannabis growers and breeders to identify and secure rights to their intellectual property, while streamlining the administrative process and reducing the costs of genetic and mandatory quality-control testing for legal cannabis.
