FansUnite Entertainment engages gaming law firm to pursue US licensing strategy

FansUnite Entertainment Inc (CSE:FANS) (OTCQB:FUNFF) (FRA:4UY) said it has engaged the services of prominent US gaming law firm Ifrah Law PLLC to collaborate with OneComply Inc in assisting the company with its US licensing strategy. 

The company, which focuses on technology related to regulated online gaming and other products, said in response to the interest it has received from US gambling and casino operators for its sports betting and iGaming solutions, the founding member of Ifrah Law, Jeff Ifrah, will provide counsel to FansUnite on its rapid expansion strategy across different US jurisdictions, beginning with New Jersey. 

Last month, FansUnite partnered with compliance and licensing solution provider OneComply Inc to advise FansUnite on protocol and strategy as it enters additional North American legalized gaming jurisdictions, especially in the US.

“Jeff’s expertise and extensive experience in the US gaming landscape will be integral to FansUnite’s growth in the US online gambling market as the company seeks to acquire multiple state licenses in 2021,” the company said in a statement.

FansUnite also said that Ifrah has worked with OneComply on multiple occasions and that his contribution will “bolster OneComply’s efforts in streamlining the legal process for FansUnite’s entry into the US.”

We have a lot of experience in gaming markets outside of North America. Jeff will accelerate our expansion into the highly complex U.S. betting and iGaming market,” FansUnite chief executive Scott Burton said in a statement.
