Naturally Splendid Enterprises brings in further C$612,865 cash from warrant exercise

Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd (CVE:NSP) (OTCMKTS:NSPDF) (FRA:50N) has received a shot of capital after a strategic investor exercised a round of warrants at C$0.055 each.

The healthy foods producer said it received C$612,865 in cash from the exercise and a total of 11,143,000 shares were issued.

On March 5 this year, the company also announced the receipt of C$254,980 in cash again from the exercise of warrants and cumulatively, the company said it had now received C$867,854 in all through the exercise of warrants.

“A strategic investor has exercised this recent round of warrants, which has allowed the company to accelerate on key initiatives,” said Naturally Splendid’s CEO Craig Goodwin in a statement.

“This influx of capital will be directed towards the operations of the company to further advance projects such as Natera Plant-Based foods and e-commerce strategies. We look forward to providing updates as these key initiatives are implemented.”

The company also revealed it had just completed a survey with a dedicated team of marketing students from the British Columbia Institution of Technology (BCIT) that aimed to explore gen-z and millennials’ awareness, knowledge, and perception of plant-based foods.

“The findings from the survey will provide insight to consumer preferences for future Plant-Based Protein Foods. We look forward to providing updates on the continued growth of Natera Plant-based Foods in the very near future including our findings from the survey details,” the company said.

Founded in 2010, Naturally Splendid operates a Safe Quality Food Level 2 certified food manufacturing facility outside Vancouver, British Columbia. It has established numerous healthy, functional foods, most recently its Natera Plant Based Foods, a line of plant-based alternatives.

The company has also developed proprietary technologies for the extraction of high-demand, healthy omega 3 and 6 oils from hemp.
