PyroGenesis Canada shares to begin trading on the NASDAQ on March 11

PyroGenesis Canada Inc (TSE:PYR) (OTCQB:PYRNF) (FRA:8PY) announced that the company’s application to list its common shares on the NASDAQ Capital Market has been approved and its stock will start trading on the NASDAQ at the open on March 11, under the ticker symbol “PYR”.

The company also noted that March 10 will be the last day of trading for its stock on the OTCQB, but PyroGenesis will continue to maintain its Toronto Stock Exchange listing.

“This is an exciting milestone for the company, and one that we have been considering and working towards for quite some time,” PyroGenesis Canada CEO Peter Pascali said in statement.

Pascali added: “We are proud to have qualified as a NASDAQ member and we look forward to trading on this prestigious platform. The company’s shares will now be listed on two major exchanges, and we expect that this will not only further increase PyroGenesis’ visibility within the financial community but will also increase awareness of our product offerings amongst potential clients.”

The company added that no concurrent financings or a reverse stock split is taking place with the NASDAQ listing.

In connection with this listing, PyroGenesis reported that, in order to maintain the overall independence of the board of directors, Michael Blank has tendered his resignation as a director and member of the Audit Committee effective immediately in favor of continuing as acting-CFO of the company.

As well, the company said its board has formed two new committees: a Compensation Committee, which is responsible for overseeing executive compensation, and a Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee responsible for overseeing the director & officer nomination process, as well as developing and monitoring PyroGenesis’ corporate governance.

Ben Naccarato has been appointed by the board to serve as a member on both the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee, effective immediately.

PyroGenesis is a high-tech company that designs, develops, manufactures, and commercializes plasma atomized metal powder, plasma waste-to-energy systems, and plasma torch products.
