Renforth Resources poised to start exploration program at Surimeau project within week; reports additional Parbec gold drill results

Renforth Resources Inc said it expects to begin its previously announced chipping/stripping program at its 260 square-kilometer (sq km) Surimeau District battery metals project in Quebec within a week as the company also posted additional positive drill assays from its Parbec surface gold asset.

“Renforth has received the permit required to commence the previously announced stripping program. While assays are still outstanding for the bulk of the 2021 drilling at Surimeau, Renforth will commence the chipping/stripping program in order to expose on surface a portion of the Victoria West mineralized system,” it told investors in a statement.

The field crew will be able to map and sample the exposed system at the Victoria West target, as well as prospect ground which has likely not been prospected before with the completion of chipping and stripping, it added.

Also in the statement, Renforth reported assays from four holes drilled as part of the 49 holes within the drill program 2021 portion of the over 15,000 meters (m) sunk at Parbec, with highlights including 9.95m at a grade of 1.75 grams per ton (g/t) gold in one hole starting from 118.15m depth

This drill program was designed to infill gaps within the mineralized model, as well as test several historic holes to validate the 13,000m of drill data excluded from the May 2020 resource estimate for Parbec and to begin to test the deposit at depth, with greater than 75% of the mineralization in the model sits above a depth of 300m, said Renforth.

“With today’s release there are assay results from 6 drill holes remaining to be received and released once complete,” it added.
