Emmaus Life Sciences Inc (OTCQX:EMMA) reported its 3Q financial results that showed the company generated revenue of $5.8 million, up 3% from the $5.6 million it posted during the same period last year. The results showed the company is progressing its efforts to expand access to Endari, the firm’s prescription L-glutamine oral powder for the treatment of sickle cell disease. According to the life sciences company, the revenue growth was driven primarily by increasing market acceptance of Endari in the US, and partially offset by discounts afforded customers on bulk orders.

Mednow Inc (TSX-V:MNOW, OTCQB:MDNWF) said it has signed a two-year investment agreement to acquire the license and exclusive distribution rights of TruDiagnostic in Canada. Under the agreement, Mednow said it paid a one-time licensing fee of US$150,000 to TruDiagnostic for access and use of the TruDiagnostic Technology and TruDiagnostic Platform for the development, importation, use, marketing, sale, and distribution of the Epigenetic Testing Kits. Mednow said its strategy is to develop a digital interdisciplinary model of care, anchored in pharmacy and supported by telemedicine and complementary health care services. Having the exclusive distribution rights of TruDiagnostic in Canada will enhance Mednow’s approach to provide a full spectrum health care ecosystem, as the company intends to continue to build a holistic approach to patient care.

New Pacific Metals (TSX:NUAG, NYSE:NEWP) Corp has posted its unaudited third-quarter results that demonstrated its strong financial position to advance its flagship Silver Sand project, Carangas Project and other regional exploration initiatives in Bolivia. For the period ended September 30, 2021, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based precious metal exploration and development company reported it had working capital of $41.70 million. The company’s operating expenses for the quarter totaled $1.60 million, compared to $1.52 million in the 3Q of 2020. Meanwhile, the net loss for the quarter was $1.38 million, or $0.01 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.13 million, or $0.01 per share in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Boosh Plant-Based Brands Inc (CSE:VEGI, OTC:VGGIF) has announced that Sonya Looney — a World Champion Professional Mountain Biker — will be its keynote speaker during the Planted Expo, Canada’s largest plant-based consumer show on November 20 and 21 at the Vancouver and Conventional Centre West. Looney attributes becoming a World Champion Mountain Biker after shifting to a plant-based diet. She has won the toughest endurance races on the planet, racing in 25 countries including Nepal, Morocco, Mongolia, Haiti, Sri Lanka, and Colombia. Boosh is gearing up for its role as headline sponsor of Planted Expo with its 2,000 square foot booth. Therma Bright Inc (TSX-V:THRM, OTC:TBRIF), which is advancing its smart-enabled AcuVid COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Saliva Test, said it will begin its US clinical performance study immediately. In a statement, the company said the move comes after the Institutional Review Board’s (IRB) conditional approval on November 11, 2021. Therma Bright said the clinical performance study, per US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidance, will begin immediately at three US-based clinics. The results will complement the Brazilian clinical study and other requested test data that have been submitted to the FDA over the past four months, beginning in July 2021.

CULT Food Science Corp announced that its portfolio company MeliBio Inc was included by TIME magazine in the 2021 edition of its annual “Top 100 Inventions of The Year” issue. MeliBio has developed a scientific approach to replacing honeybees as a medium of honey production. The Vancouver-based company’s subsidiary is offering solutions to help solve sustainability and supply chain-related challenges being faced by the global honey industry. The plant biology company recently made history earlier this year by being the first to produce “bee-free” honey in a full-scale production run and has been recognized globally for its scientific innovation.

KWESST (TSX-V:KWE, OTCQB:KWEMF) Micro Systems Inc. revealed that General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) (General Dynamics (NYSE:GD)) Land Systems (GDLS) has selected KWESST’s Phantom electronic battlefield decoy as part of its ongoing efforts to develop a next-generation multi-domain mobile capability at the tactical level. GDLS is a leading manufacturer of military vehicles such as tanks and lighter armored fighting vehicles for military customers around the world. Over the next eighteen months, the KWESST engineering team will be working in close collaboration with GDLS to support readying a prototype vehicle with Phantom onboard for trials by their US military customer in the first part of 2023.

BTU Metals Corp has announced plans to raise C$171,000 via a private placing to be used for ongoing exploration at its Dixie Halo project in Red Lake, Ontario. It comes after the junior explorer announced in October this year that it had inked a contract with Fusion Drilling of Hawkesbury, Ontario for a minimum of 2,200 meters (m) at the property. In addition, on November 4 this year, the company announced a non-brokered private placement of 3.5 million flow-through units at C$0.09 per each for total gross proceeds of C$315,000. BTU’s flagship project covers 19,723 hectares (Ha) and is contiguous with, and surrounds Great Bear Resources (TSX-V:GBR) (Great Bear Resources (TSX-V:GBR)) Ltd’s Dixie exploration project. This latest private placing will see 1.9 million units issued at C$0.09 each for total gross proceeds of C$171,000.

Esports Entertainment Group Inc has announced the pricing of its previously announced $8 million public offering. The company said it is offering 800,000 shares of its 10.0% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Convertible Preferred Stock, with a liquidation preference of $11 per share, at a purchase price of $10 per share for total gross proceeds of $8 million. In connection with the offering, the esports company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase an additional 120,000 shares of Series A Preferred Stock. Each share of Series A Preferred Stock is convertible into shares of the company’s stock, at a conversion price of $17.50 per share, at any time at the option of the holder.
