Four Years Worth of Doodles & Lettering Laid Out

Michelle Brand, like most of us, uses her sketchbook to capture odd imagery, thoughts, and words. Seeing it all laid out in this way is an accurate representation of the intense shifts that go on within the mind of an artist. One day could be a pattern inspired by broken glass, trees, or a birds-eye view of the city, then the next day could be random thoughts that spark curiosity or a quote you can’t seem to shake. The dramatic contrast of the sketchbook pages with the black ink clearly catches your attention, but the way she chose to showcase the entire thing as a whole (4 years worth) takes it to a new level.
