Last year, I posted a few things about it being the 40th anniversary of the Sony Walkman, a device which arguably changed the world, and certainly impacted my life in a big way. 2019 was also the 30th anniversary of another legendary device, the Nintendo Game Boy. Much like the Sony Walkman, the Nintendo Game Boy was my prized possession for many years. This video by modern day tech review wunderkind MKBHD made me incredibly nostalgic for the old grey brick. It also reminded me just how incredibly well-made and tough the device was – able to withstand being dropped and much more. Impressive stuff. The entire Retro Tech series of videos is super fun for me.
