We received copies of these books to check out for ourselves this summer. As a homeschooling parent who actually DOES hate math, these have been a lifesaver. I’ve found fun, easy ways to remind myself-and the kids-how to master basic math equations.

Both kids are pretty solid when it comes to addition and subtraction, but we’re still brushing up on these in order to get us ready for…..

Multiplication and Division.

Sophie is going into the 3rd grade, and Xander will be in 2nd Grade. This means math is about to get a lot trickier. In fact, things just got real for my daughter, since 3rd grade focuses largely on multiplication and division.
