The Holidays are upon us, and even though this isn’t a typical season for anyone, there’s still time to find awesome gifts for those we love the most. Even if circumstances don’t really allow for huge family gatherings, having gifts shipped or dropped off and celebrating socially distanced or via apps like Zoom are all the rage this year. All we can really do is make the most of what is an incredibly atypical year and hope that someday, some normalcy will be restored.

Potager natural soap is handmade with organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, sustainable organic palm oil, organic shea butter, organic essential oils, and organic botanicals.

These gorgeous, cold process soaps are not only a delight to the senses, they’re also very effective and nourishing to the skin. We received an assortment to check out, and I admit, I am pretty darn blown away. These soaps arrived ​beautifully packaged, and the first thing I noticed was the wonderful aromas emanating from the box. They smelled so good! I love smell good things so much. 

The next thing I did after taking in all the beautiful scents was look at just how beautiful the soaps themselves are. These are handmade and rustic, and they all look completely unique since no 2 soaps are completely identical. There are herbs and flowers and other skin loving ingredients throughout. They remind me of something one would expect to find at an  Ohio Amish market that features handmade goods. Yep, these offer that kind of quality, even though they’re not an Amish made product. I am just using that comparison to attest to the wonderful quality of these soaps. ​

The thing that blows me away the most about Potager Soaps? 

The variety. Oh, the staggering variety. There is truly something for every taste. This brand uses only the best organic, fairly sourced ingredients and they offer some truly luxurious options. I received a small sampling of their many, many options. 

What kind of scents, you may ask?

Well, I’ll give you just a few: Natural Sugared Balsam. Secret Garden. Tea Tree. Minted Lemon Tea. Rosemary Lemongrass. Natural Lavender. Lavender Charcoal. Eucalyptus Mint.

​That’s just to name a few. 

These wonderful soaps are also just pleasant to use. They’re pretty looking, pretty smelling, and they leave my skin feeling nourished, hydrated, and clean. These are no ordinary soaps, as they truly do offer a more spa like experience. My 10 year old daughter calls them “the Bougie Good Soaps”. 

She’s definitely not wrong. 

But I’d go as far as saying they’re the Bougie BEST Soaps.
