Bucket List Item Achieved: See Todd Rundgren Live #ToddRundgren #CelebratingDavidBowie

I almost did a few years ago, but then Covid happened to ruin live music for a while. 

Then I almost did AGAIN, but lost my Driver’s Licence and couldn’t get into the venue, even with many forms of alternative identification. 

Last night, at the beautiful Goodyear Theater in Akron, I finally saw Todd live. He was putting on a show to celebrate another great, David Bowie. (My pup is named after David Bowie, so you could say I’m a fan of his, too.) 

I cried a lot. First, I cried because I was FINALLY seeing Todd and it just felt cathartic and like a release of so many feelings I’d kept pent up. I won’t get into details about why it was so personal and important for me to see Todd, but it was…And it was wonderful. 

And then I cried because David Bowie is dead.
