Sterling Euro Exchange Rates waiting for UK Industrial & Manufacturing Data (Tom Holian)
Sterling Euro exchange rates are trading in the mid 1.37 levels this morning and trading in a tight range in anticipation of UK industrial and manufacturing data due out at 930am this morning.
With the GBPEUR exchange rates having dropped by almost 6 cents since Black Monday just a fortnight ago there have been a few opportunities to sell Euros in to Sterling at better levels during this period.
However, with the Eurozone having downgraded its growth forecast last week for 2015, 2016 and 2017 the single currency is still looking nervous.
The UK releases its own set of GDP data provide by the NIESR which measures UK growth for the last 3 months which is out this afternoon so both sets of data could impact Sterling Euro exchange rates during today’s session. The data could influence the Bank of England’s interest rate decision at midday tomorrow.
