"Teen Mom 2" Episode 11 Recap: Do You Really Think I'm that Stupid?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Hello all you lovely people and welcome to episode 11 of, Teen Mom 2. Dear lord I feel like such a stage mom with this show. Every week I watch, with my fingers crossed and a big smile on my face hoping that this time, THIS time, the episode will be entertaining.

A girl can dream can’t she?

Leah

What is it with these two? They are far too reasonable. There’s no real fighting. Just ordinary discussions about their future at a non-glass shattering volume. I’m very happy for them don’t get me wrong. But us? we’re screwed. Anyways, we begin this episode with Leah and Corey settling the “will they won’t they” about their marriage. And guess what? They’re totally getting married! Aren’t you surprised? I was. Yup. Shocked. Anywho, now that they’re back on track to get married and have ten thousand babies, they go cake shopping and it’s adorable. Boring, but adorable. But the bliss can’t last because it seems the medical trouble won’t stop as Leah takes Ali in for a second opinion. I have to say this doctor is a while lot nicer then the last one. This one looks like she actually deals with kids on a daily basis, imagine that. Next steps seem to be seeing a geneticist, and no one can tell yet whether or not she’ll be able to walk . I’m hoping for these two that all it is is slow development. But the episode ends on a good note for these two with Corey buying tuxedos and the two of them bonding over Ali’s issues. These kids are actually alright. The commitment that they both express to seeing their daughter through these issues is admirable.

Kailyn

We meet Kailyn in this episode trying to figure out the best way to protect herself and Isaac, so that rapper Jo can’t run off with him again. Good idea, but what is the weirdest thing ever with Kailyn is how much her mom is suddenly stepping up and taking interest. Better late than never I suppose. On her mothers urging, Kailyn phones around to figure out how to file custody papers, while trying to balance a job and get her schoolwork done. How cute was it to watch her try to involve Isaac in her studying? So so cute. But she’s starting to see the consequences of all her juggling, as her grades start to slip, so its off to drop a class so that she isn’t so overwhelmed. After that it’s time for the big day at court to file for joint custody. Kailyn hopes that Jo will be “cool” with this. Oh yeah, totally. I can see Jo being completely fine with this. Completely. Doing something without his permission? Nope, he’ll be fine, just fine.

Chelsea

So Chelsea’s all happy-happy-joy-joy about spending time with her friends instead of Adam. But the joys of breaking up with Adam also come with the misfortune of Adam not paying child support. Luckily, the courts are stepping in and making Adam face the music on that one. But its two steps forward, four steps back with this one, because instead of seeing this as a positive direction, she goes to lunch with dad and proceeds to whine whine whine about how much she hates school, and how its “hard” studying for her GED. Dad is surprisingly unsympathetic. Don’t worry dude, we’re sick of hearing it too. But any bliss Chelsea may have felt as a single girl is interrupted by a phone call from Adam demanding to see Aubree which of course gets the big “no” from Chelsea. Girl may be a whiner, but she’s growing a backbone. She also appears to be liking the Facebook stalking. Some careful sleuthing tips Chelsea off to the fact that Adam has a new girlfriend, which prompts Chelsea to declare that she doesn’t want a bunch of random girls around Aubree. Good idea in theory, but he’s a teenage boy who spends most of his life playing video games. I don’t think you’re going to convince him to change his focus. Adam is like Jo, he wants what he can’t have. And once he has it, he’s annoyed with it. Lo and behold, I’m right. Adam and Chelsea have a fight over Adam’s lack of, um, anything. And since he hasn’t stepped up, Chelsea refuses to let him see Aubree until he shows some signs of, well, anything. I have to say I’m a big fan of this new Chelsea. I just hope new Chelsea doesn’t end up being like old Chelsea. .

Jenelle

Seems like the epic love story that is Keifer and Jenelle is falling apart (finally), and to add insult to injury she’s still in big trouble with her mom for the whole “borrowing” of the credit card thing. Part of the problem is that Jenelle seems to think that taking money for gas and food is not the same as stealing. Oh. Oh dear. Oh dear dear dear. I honestly didn’t hear the rest of the argument because I just couldn’t get over the logic Jenelle, borrowing and stealing are two different things. Google it. Oh and while you’re on the Google, try looking up the definition of permission would you? It would probably clear a lot up. Anywho, what happens next is the same fight they have every episode. Jenelle tells her mother she’s not stupid, and Barbara yells at the top of her lungs, a lot. So now, Jenelle not only has no place to live, but no job since she conveniently forgets to call her boss after missing two days of work. Sigh. While she prepares to sleep in her car on the beach, Barbara comes down with a case of guilt, and decides not to file charges on Jenelle after speaking with her lawyer. I for one think that she only decided not to file is because filing charges would mean that Jenelle would become more of a “burden” to her. Mom of the year award right here folks. But at least she calls her and invites her back home to sleep. I’m sure they’ll bond over some hot coffee and cookies right? Ah no, not with these two. I will say that Barbara makes a very good point about Jenelle’s life heading in a different direction ever since she met Keifer. She makes so much more sense when she doesn’t sound like a dying cat.

Next week we have the season finale! Looks like they’re all in some major trouble with the police getting involved with both Chelsea and Jenelle. See ya then!
