'Jersey Shore' News: Italy Lets the Guidos In...With Conditions

Gawker is reporting that an Italian newspaper has come out with the stipulations Florence, Italy has put on the cast of ‘Jersey Shore’ when they head over there to ~~terrorize Europe~~ film their 4th season. Sounds like it’s going to be a snore-fest…

The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol.
The cast will not be filmed drinking in public.
The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town.
The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature it’s culture and good food.

Well gee…this is a buzzkill. Now for SURE we’re going to see Dammi and Ronnie: Dysfunctional Overseas for 16 episodes. And less public drinking, means less watching Snooki and Deena fall down, which is 98% of the reason we watch this show! I’ll be damned if my Jersday is going to consist of Guidos looking at art and discussing architecture. Oh wait a minute…that actually might be funny.

So we’ll have to wait and see how this turns out. Maybe with Florence being rigid in what “Jersey Shore” can and can not do, it might make the show better. Thoughts?
