A Letter From Two Intelligent Trump Voters

Dear Mr. Barking,

We write to tell you that my wife and I take great umbrage over your nasty blog posts having to do with our great President Donald John Trump. (That is my lovely wife pictured above in her favorite Trump t-shirt.)

We are both University graduates; she with a law degree from the U. of Arizona, and I have a law degree from Yale. Full disclosure; we are both quite well-off. I mention this because both of us had no help whatsoever in getting to where we are today. Granted, both our families were able to afford to send us to our respective universities but we did the rest on our own. With that in mind why on earth should we, as people who have assets of over 50 million dollars, be asked to pay another two cents on every dollar we have? Annually. This is patently un-American! It is hardly our fault that the 400 richest Americans currently own more wealth than all Black households and a quarter of Latino households combined. Nor is it our fault that the richest 130,000 families in America now hold nearly as much wealth as the bottom 117 million families combined. No…it is quite obviously their own fault.

But, I digress. Mr. Trump has one of the keenest business minds in this country. He typifies that most American ideal of “can do” in that he has used the laws of the land to build his family fortune. As lawyers we are fortunate to have represented Mr. Trump in twenty one (21) lawsuits, against people who have accused Mr.Trump and his businesses of failing to pay them for their work. Falsely, I must add. Among the people and companies we defended Mr. Trump against: a dishwasher in Florida, a glass company in New Jersey, a carpet company, a plumber, various painters, forty-eight waiters and dozens of bartenders and other hourly workers at his resorts and clubs, coast to coast. As well as quite a few real estate brokers who sold his properties. Although these were all frivolous lawsuits they were ultimately settled. The only reason we have as yet to be paid for our legal work in these matters is personal.

And, he has brought the very same business acumen that he has used to build his vast empire to the White House. Instead of smearing his good name you should be praising him for what he has done for the stock market, and for people’s investments. Our own and our friends for example. Also he is to be commended for his fight against being overrun by the worst kind of people who want to immigrate here. As well as for his steadfast backing of our great coal industry. And for his proposal to eliminate the ACA’s expansion of Medicaid to low-income adults and its subsidies that help low and moderate-income people obtain marketplace coverage. Why, we’d like to know, must our tax monies go to these people who do not know how to help themselves?  These monies would be better used in the building of Mr. Trump’s wall to stanch the flow of those real “undesirables.”

Yes Mr. Barking – we take umbrage at your repeated portrayals of our great President as some kind of criminal robber baron. Your repeatedly making fun of this serious man who is doing his very best for the good of this country, and who is now being impeached for it! For doing what this country has always stood for; initiative, creativity, strength of character in the face of adversity. And, if he has made any profit during this time from his many properties, isn’t that what property is for?

My wife and I would be honored to once again represent this incredible President in this completely unnecessary trial should he reach out to us for our help. Here now is my wonderful wife;

I am Mrs. Arthur H. Chancellor III, and to add to what my husband has written above; we would gladly leave our five young children with their respective nannies and rush to the Capital to defend Mr. Trump’s honor. We both hold hands and kneel every night and pray he calls us before we pray for Almighty G-d on High in His most righteous vengeance to smite down the satanic, demonic forces reeking of brimstone and sulfur, presumably Democrats, trying to undermine Mr. Trump’s presidency. He is as stable as we are.
