HTC One X9 with 5.5-inch FHD display Launched In China
Renowned tech giant HTC has finally unveiled the latest member of its One family, the One X9, in the Chinese market. Following several rumours and speculations, the powerful mid-range smartphone is now listed on company’s China website, and will be hitting the shelves soon at CNY 2,399, which approximately equals to Rs. 24,400 in the Indian currency. HTC hasn’t revealed any details about the global availability or pricing of this smartphone.
The all new HTC One X9 boasts a perfect union of top-tier features and stunning form-factor. The device sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 410 pixels per square inch and viewing angles up to 170 degrees. It features a sassy metal body with three capacitive touch buttons at the bottom, and powers up by MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM. This is the same chipset that HTC used in One ME, and is further support by 32GB of built-in-storage expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card.
Along with top-notch innards, the HTC One X9 stands out as a perfect camera phone as well. The power-packed device incorporates a 13-megapixel main camera with 2nd Gen OIS, BSI back illuminated sensor, LED flash, and a 5-megapixel secondary snapper with f/2.0 aperture and 24.7mm lens. It captures snags in RAW quality and also records 4k videos without any lags or glitches.
While HTC didn’t reveal which version of Android the One X9 will be running, the company did announce that the dual SIM based device will pack standard connectivity options including the most advanced 4G LTE. The device will pack Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro USB 2.0, and GPS options, and will power up by a fairly impressive 3000mAh battery, promising 15 hours of 3G talk time, 10 hours of video playback, and 40 hours of nonstop audio playback.
Moreover, the HTC One X9 will also feature a slew of sensors (ambient light sensor, g-sensor, proximity sensor, compass, magnetic sensor, gyroscope), and advanced fast charging technology for nonstop work and play. The weight of the phone is a little heavy at 170 grams, but the inclusion of Dolby Audio technology with its dual front-facing speakers takes the entire audio-experience to a whole new level.
