Lenovo K4 Note Set To Launch On January 5
With big plans for 2016, Lenovo has started sending out media invites for the launch event of its next budget beauty, Lenovo K4 Note. Dubbed as “Killer Note 2016”, the successor of K3 Note is expected to continue Lenovo’s legacy by offering some mind-boggling specs at a “nearly” same price tag. The event has been scheduled on January 5 in New Delhi, and is definitely bringing one of the biggest surprises of the year very early!
Recent teasers from Lenovo have confirmed that K4 Note will show up with some of the finest specs and an improved fingerprint scanner. The speculation about a fingerprint scanner has going been around since a long time, but now, the official teasers from the company have given a clear sign that the next Note will incorporate a fingerprint scanner and that too at a very similar price bracket. The Lenovo K3 Note was launched earlier in July at Rs. 9,999.
Along with fingerprint scanning, Lenovo also plans on including some major feature upgrades in Lenovo K4 Note. Couple of teasers from the company have suggested that the upcoming device will feature a mind-blowing metal body with a whopping 3GB of RAM. It will retain the same 5.5-inch full-HD display, but there will be some major under the hood improvements for gamers and power-users.
The success of K4 Note has already been staged by its predecessor K3 Note, which according to Lenovo, has been sold prolifically in last six months. The company proudly touts that they have sold more than 1.2 million units of the smartphone in less the six months since its launch in the Indian market.
To recall, Lenovo launched K3 Note earlier in June with some really impressive specifications. The dual-SIM based device runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI, sports a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, and powers up by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752SoC clocked at 1.5GHz. It combines 16GB of inbuilt memory with 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper, and offers sufficient juice for seamless work and play with its 3000mAh battery. The device featured LTE connectivity and offered additional option for expandability up to 128 gigs via microSD card.
Following the impeccable performance of Lenovo K3 Note, same is expected from its successor as well. The launch is still a few days away, and till then, we can expect Lenovo to reveal more details about its next Note!
