iBall Andi 5.5H Weber Launched at Rs. 6,499
Popular smartphone maker iBall has officially launched its Andi 5.5H Weber smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 6,499. Although the smartphone went on sale earlier this month via a third party retailer, it’s now officially available at iBall authorized outlets and retail stores.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the box, the all new iBall Andi 5.5H Weber sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS full lamination display, and powers up by a quad-core processor tickling at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. The device packs 8 gigs of inbuilt storage and incorporates an added option for expandability up to 32GB using microSD card. The company highlighted all essential details about the dual-SIM based phone but not its processor’s make.
Along with top-tier innards, iBall Andi 5.5H Weber packs impeccable camera capabilities as well. The device includes a 5-megapixel rear autofocus snapper, which can take shots up to 8-megapixels and capture 1080p videos. And on the other end, there is 2-megapixel front-facing cam which delivers crisp and bright selfies in daylight and lowlight environments. The setup of the handset is enhanced with a bunch of features such as, face recognition, scene detection, low-light enhancement, panorama, burst-shot, HDR mode, geo-tagging, and smile shot.
As for connectivity, iBall Andi 5.5H Weber includes all essential options like 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. There is no 4G LTE on the handset, but on whole, its performance is fairly impressive for standard users. The official listing from iBall also mentions about availability of accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity, and ambient light sensor, and support for 21 Indian regional languages with read and write capabilities.
The phone will power up by a decent 2200mAh battery, and will ship in two colour options, White and Golden. It will fit in right behind the recently launched Andi Sprinter 4G phone priced at Rs. 7,099. The impressive iBall Andi Sprinter sports an FWVGA display, powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. It packs 4G connectivity and also incorporates the unique feature of a universal IR Remote application for controlling televisions, set top boxes, DVD players, and other appliances without messing with different remote controls for each!
