Libyafeb17.com is back but still requires some tweaking
It’s been one hectic 36 hours (almost). I’ve jumped through so many hoops, made so many phonecalls and asked for assistance so often that I’m feeling completely shattered right now.
Not all the plugins are installed, the forums are still not styled properly and the facebook recommend buttons seems to be broken. The main feature that we would’ve really liked to implement is the automatically updating left hand column which would load the newest updates without you having to refresh the website. It’s safe to say that while attempting to make it work, we have crashed the apache server no less than 10 times over the course of the past 36 hours and across 3 servers. It is with sadness that we tell you that we won’t be able to implement it right now and that you’ll need to refresh the page manually as always.
We apologise for how long this has taken and hope to be in full swing once again from early Friday (today for us, tomorrow for some). Right now though it’s time for sleep before I collapse on the laptop.
