EMMANUEL Macron has issued nations across the globe with a horrifying World War 3 warning ahead of Donald Trump’s vital decision on whether the US will remain in the Iran nuclear deal, it has emerged.

The French president stated that if the Republican firebrand fully withdraws from the deal “it could mean war”.

He explained: “That would mean opening Pandora’s box, it could mean war.”

However, Mr Macron hinted that the President may refrain from fully removing the US from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as he insisted “I don’t believe that Donald Trump wants war”.

The French leader recently visited the White House as part of a three-day state visit.

Mr Macron held discussions with Mr Trump on a variety of issues and attempted to persuade the billionaire to remain in the Iran nuclear deal.

However, the French leader appeared to concede defeat following his efforts.

Mr Macron told reporters before leaving the US he believed the President “will get rid of this deal”.

He went on: “My view – I don’t know what your president will decide – is that he will get rid of this deal on his own, for domestic reasons.”

Ahead of Mr Trump’s May 12 deadline to decide if America will remain a part of the JCPOA, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani starkly warned that abandoning the agreement would be a “historic mistake” as World War 3 fears skyrocket.

Mr Rouhani stated that Tehran had plans for “whatever decision is made by Trump”.

He added: “When it comes to weapons and defending our country, we will not negotiate with anybody.”

In addition to Mr Macron and German chancellor Angela Merkel, Boris Johnson has also visited Washington in a desperate attempt to halt a US withdrawal from the nuclear deal.

The Foreign Secretary will engage in talks with Vice President Mike Pence.

The pair are expected to discuss matters concerning Iran, North Korea and Syria.

Prior to his departure, Mr Johnson said: “On so many of the world’s foreign policy challenges the UK and US are in lockstep.

“We’ve seen this recently with the response to the poisonings in Salisbury, our strong response to Assad’s use of chemical weapons in Syria, and the effort to denuclearise North Korea.

“The UK, US and European partners are also united in our effort to tackle the kind of Iranian behaviour that makes the Middle East region less secure – its cyber activities, its support for groups like Hezbollah, and its dangerous missile programme, which is arming Houthi militias in Yemen.”

NORTH Korea has warned Donald Trump to stop provoking them as tensions between Pyongyang and Washington rise ahead of a historic meeting between the two leaders which could reignite World War 3 fears on the Korean peninsula.

The hermit kingdom’s official news agency quoted a Foreign Ministry spokesman who warned recent American claims are a “dangerous attempt” to ruin a prospective detente on the Korean peninsula.

The official added the US was deliberately provoking the North by suggesting sanctions will not be lifted until Kim Jong-un surrenders his devastating weapons arsenal.

The North Korean official, quoted by state news agency KCNA, said the US was “misleading public opinion” by saying the denuclearisation pledge resulted from sanctions and other pressure.

The official said: “The US is deliberately provoking Pyongyang at the time when the situation on the Korean Peninsula is moving towards peace and reconciliation.”

“This act cannot be construed otherwise than a dangerous attempt to ruin the hard-won atmosphere of dialogue and bring the situation back to square one.

“It would not be conducive to addressing the issue if the US miscalculates the peace-loving intention as a sign of ‘weakness’ and continues to pursue its pressure and military threats against the latter.”

President Trump has declared he will continue to impose tough sanctions on the North and that his hard stance has helped facilitate reconciliation.

This comes after Donald Trump confirmed on Friday that the time and place for his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un had been settled, despite not providing further details.

He said: “We now have a date and we have a location.

“We’ll be announcing it soon.”

It is believed the pair could meet in Singapore in mid-June according to South Korean media reports.

Both sides are believed to have chosen the city as a third-party host, sources told the Chosun newspaper and Yonhap news agency.

There is still the possibility that President Trump could change his mind and decide he would prefer to meet in Panmunjom village in the Korean Demilitarized Zone.

The meeting between the pair comes after the dictator and South Korean President Moon Jae-in signed the Panmunjom Declaration on April 27, agreeing to work towards denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula and to usher in a “new era of peace”.

Mr Moon will also travel to Washington on May 22 to discuss plans for the highly anticipated US-North Korea summit.

This meeting could play a key role in trying to facilitate an official end to the Korean War.
