Saints QB Drew Brees Under Fire For Appearing In Video Promoting ‘National Bring Your Bible to School Day’ By ‘Anti-LGBTQ’ Focus On The Family

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees on Thursday defended his participation in a video that was released by the religious organization Focus on the Family, a group that is widely recognized as ‘anti-LGBTQ’.

The battle lines are drawn now, people, and clearly defined. Drew Brees found himself in hot water today because he made a video promoting National Bring Your Bible To School day, in a video produced by Focus On The Family. Read the story below to get all the details, but know this. From this point forward, standing for the Bible is now considered ‘hate speech’ because the Bible is against the LGBTQ+P for Pedophile Movement. 100%.

“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” 2 Peter 3:3,4 (KJV)

This article from USA Today, should you take the time to actually read it, should send cold chills down your spine. Over and over, it accuses Focus On The Family of being ‘anti-LGBTQ’, and casts the same aspersions at Brees as well. But guess what? The Bible IS against the LGBTQ+ agenda and movement, and one of two things is going to happen. Either Christians will shut their mouths and stop speaking out for the truth, as Brees has elected to do, or two, Christians will stand up for Bible truth and become outcasts in society. Brees thought he “handled it” as you will see in his Twitter video below, but he missed it by a country mile. In his rush to pacify his critics, he says that the Bible teaches him to “accept all people, all religions, and all sexual orientations’ when it clearly says nothing of the kind. In fact it says the opposite, calling the LGBTQ+ agenda as ‘vile affections’. But oh,  the things we will say to preserve our paychecks, right Drew?

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26,27 (KJV)

So I want all of you reading this to ponder this question: what are you personally going to decide to do in this time of coming persecution of Christians and Bible truth? Think carefully before answering. I make my stand every day by running this site and creating content for it. Because of that I was fired from 2 six-figure jobs back in 2013, resulting in nearly $750,000 in lost wages. Are you willing to pay a price that includes loss of friends, loss of income, and like I was briefly, homeless? The free ride of being a Christian is over people, now it’s going to cost you something to stand for Bible truth.

Where you stand on the LGBTQ+P for Pedophile Movement is the defining issue of our day. The LGBTQ+ is not taking prisoners, just so you know. Pick a side. I did, you’re reading it.

Saints QB Drew Brees defends himself after appearing in video produced by ‘anti-LGBTQ’ group

FROM USA TODAY: Focus on the Family has, among other things, promoted “conversion therapy,” a radical pseudoscientific practice that aims to change an LGBTQ person’s sexual orientation. Brees drew criticism in the days following the release of the video because of its connection to the organization.

Thursday, in front of his locker, Brees strongly defended himself. He released a video statement shortly before the Saints locker room opened to reporters, then spent several minutes answering questions in front of his locker.

Drew Brees Blows It

He started out pretty good, was happy with what he was saying, then he totally blows it by says that the Bible teaches him “to accept all people, religions, genders and sexual orientations”. Complete nonsense. Christians are not called to accept the LGBTQ+P for Pedophile Movement.

Brees took umbrage with what he considered to be a sensationalist headline, referencing a report in Big Easy Magazine that fell under the headline “Drew Brees records video for Anti-LGBTQ religious organization.” He began his media session by asking the reporters gathered around him who had seen the video if they thought it was a fair headline.

“So we can sit here and say that’s not a very fair headline — that headline was not representative of what that video was about at all. Am I right in saying that? I think that’s fair. … Why would you post a headline like that? Why? Why would you post a headline like that when that’s not what the video had anything to do about?”

UNDER THE BANNER OF THE RAINBOW BATTLE FLAG, GOD IS JUDGING A GODLESS AMERICA BY ALLOWING THE LGBTQ+P FOR PEDOPHILE ARMY TO TAKE CONTROL

The video, which does not explicitly mention Focus on the Family, starts with Brees bringing up his favorite Bible verse. He goes on to encourage children to participate in National Bring Your Bible to School Day.

“I want to encourage you to live out your faith on Bring Your Bible to School Day, and share God’s love with friends. You’re not alone,” Brees said in 23-second video clip.

The criticism levied at Brees in the aftermath appeared to have little to do with the message, but with the organization it was tied to.  A link at the bottom of the video directs viewers to bringyourbible.org, a website published by Focus on the Family.

Brees said afterward he did not have prior knowledge of Focus on the Family’s anti-LGBTQ history.

“I was not aware any of the things they said about them lobbying for anti-gay (causes) … any type of messaging or inequality or any type of hate type related stuff I was not aware of that at all,” Brees said. “And again the video itself was just focused on National Bring Your Bible to School Day. It was not promoting any group. Certainly not promoting any group that is associated with that type of behavior.

“Because I know that there are, unfortunately, Christian organizations out there that are involved in that kind of thing and to me that is totally against what being a Christian is all about. Being a Christian is love, it’s forgiveness, it’s respecting all, it’s accepting all.” READ MORE

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last days before the Rapture of the Church

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 13,131 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,500 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJV)
