Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas Sunday morning … TMZ Sports has confirmed.

In the basketball world, Kobe Bryant was a a big a star as there is, and he had all the wealth, power and accolades that go along with living that type of rarified superstar life. But today he gave up all that and stepped out into eternity through a helicopter crash in Calabasas early this morning. It happened just that fast for Kobe, and it will happen just that fast for me and you as well. Today, if someone were to ask you –  “would you go to Heaven or Hell if you died tonight?” – what answer would you give? Think hard, your eternity depends on getting it right.“And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? I do not know if Kobe Bryant was saved or lost, a Google search tells me from multiple sources that “Kobe Bryant was born and raised a Catholic, married a Catholic woman and raised his own children as Catholics.” I hope that Kobe had more than his “catholic faith” when he perished this morning in that tragic helicopter crash, I hope he had full assurance of salvation that comes only from a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church cannot give you that, and in fact, a personal relationship with Jesus is something that Pope Francis preaches against. No sir, you won’t get any help regarding your soul from the Catholic Church.

Kobe Bryant Dies In Helicopter Crash

FROM TMZ: Kobe Bryant was traveling with at least 3 other people in his private helicopter when it went down. A fire broke out. Emergency personnel responded, but nobody on board survived. 5 people are confirmed dead. We’re told Vanessa Bryant was not among those on board. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Kobe has famously used a helicopter to travel for years — dating back to when he played for the Lakers. He was known for commuting from Newport Beach, CA to the STAPLES Center in DTLA in his Sikorsky S-76 chopper.

Kobe Bryant is survived by his wife Vanessa, and their four daughters — Gianna, Natalia and Bianca and their newborn Capri.

Kobe has recently been spotted out at NBA games with his daughter Gianna — a rising star basketball player herself. Their youngest daughter, Capri, was just born in June 2019. Kobe Bryant is widely considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time — making 18 All-Star teams during his 20 year career with the Lakers. He was a first-round pick in the 1996 draft, winning 5 NBA championships, 2 NBA Finals MVPs and he was the league MVP in ’08.The Lakers famously retired both of Kobe’s jerseys, number 8 and 24 … the only player in team history to receive that honor.
