Pope Francis Gives Delegation From The National Basketball Association A Rare Private Audience To Discuss Social Justice And Black Lives Matter

A delegation representing the National Basketball Players Association, a union representing professional athletes from the NBA, met with Pope Francis at the Vatican and spoke with him about their work in promoting social justice.

Revelation 18 shows us a political ruler, a king, fornicating spiritually with the leaders of the world, and exerting near-universal influence and power over the nations, that king is the king of Vatican City, the Holy See. And today that king gave the NBA and radical American terror group Black Lives Matter a private audience so they could discuss social justice. Social it may have been, but justice? You won’t see any of that here.

“How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.” Revelation 18:7-10 (KJB)

Michele Roberts, executive director of the NBPA, the National Basketball Players Association, said that meeting with the roman pontiff “validates” the cause of Black Lives Matter and their social justice riots. In that regard, she is correct, but know this. If anything you do is validated by the Roman pope, you must be just as much a devil as he is, the Roman Catholic Church is the biblical “whore of Babylon”, and if you were smart you’d run away as fast as your Air Jordans will take you.

Pope Francis meets with NBA players’ union delegation at the Vatican to discuss social justice and Black Lives Matter Movement

FROM CATHOLIC NEWS: The players association said the group meeting the pope Nov. 23 included: Marco Belinelli, a shooting guard for the San Antonio Spurs; Sterling Brown and Kyle Korver, shooting guards for the Milwaukee Bucks; Jonathan Isaac, power forward for the Orlando Magic; and Anthony Tolliver, a 13-year power forward who is currently a free agent. The NBPA said the meeting “provided an opportunity for the players to discuss their individual and collective efforts addressing social and economic injustice and inequality occurring in their communities.”

NBA players have been vocal on social justice issues throughout the year, especially after the shocking death of George Floyd by police officers in May sparked massive protests across the United States. Before resuming the basketball season following its suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the union and the NBA reached a deal to display social justice messages on their jerseys.

PROFESSIONAL SPORTS IN AMERICA HAVE SHAMELESSLY BECOME A PLATFORM FOR THE RADICAL LEFT TO PROMOTE THE ANTIFA AND BLACK LIVES MATTER AGENDA

Michele Roberts, executive director of the NBPA, said in a statement Nov. 23 that the meeting with the pope “validates the power of our players’ voices.”

According to ESPN, union officials said an “intermediary” for the pope reached out to the NBPA and informed them of Pope Francis’ interest in their efforts to bring attention to social justice issues and economic inequality.

Korver said in a statement that the association was “extremely honored to have had this opportunity to come to the Vatican and share our experiences with Pope Francis” and that the pope’s “openness and eagerness to discuss these issues was inspiring and a reminder that our work has had a global impact and must continue moving forward.”

“Today’s meeting was an incredible experience,” Tolliver said. “With the pope’s support and blessing, we are excited to head into this next season reinvigorated to keep pushing for change and bringing our communities together.” READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 15,860+ people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 150,000+ followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 15,900 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJV)
