Europe’s Largest Nuclear Power Plant Zaporizhzhia Has Been Hit By Russian Tank Attacks And Is Now On Fire With Radiation Levels Rising Hourly

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the largest of its kind in Europe, was on fire in the early hours of Friday morning after an attack by Russian troops, the mayor of the nearby town of Energodar said.

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine has been hit by Russian tank attacks, and is right now burning with the possibility that it could explode. Firefighters cannot get close enough to put out the fire, as Russian troops fire on them when they try. The question is, did Putin’s forces hit Zaporizhzhia accidentally or on purpose? And if on purpose, what would be the point in creating a radioactive disaster that would obviously affect Russian troops as well?

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Timothy 3:1 (KJB)

Russia’s attack on Ukraine is going ‘according to plan’ and the violence will ‘get worse’ , Vladimir Putin warned today. The Russian President made the alarming comments to Emmanuel Macron, his French counterpart, during a phone call on Thursday afternoon. After hanging up the phone at the end of the exchange, which lasted for an hour and a half, Mr Macron said “the worst is yet to come”. Well, Macron better get busy and create that EU Army, he just may be needing it sooner rather than later. I’m still not sure what it is that is unfolding before us, but one thing’s for sure, no shortage of end times bad guys. Shocking stuff, but ‘par for the course’ here on Day 717 Of 15 Days To Flatten the Curve.

A live feed from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station showed flames at site

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: A government official told The Associated Press elevated levels of radiation are being detected near the site of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. The official spoke on condition of anonymity as the information has not yet been publicly released.

A live feed from the station showed smoke rising from the site in the south-east of the country, and showed tanks firing at buildings – sparking fears of a radiation disaster in the nation currently under invasion by Russian forces. RIA news agency reported that a generating unit at the plant had been hit,  citing the Ukrainian atomic energy ministry as saying on Friday.

‘Firefighters can’t start extinguishing the fire at the Zaporozhzhia nuclear power plant – they are being fired on at point-blank range. There is already a hit on the first power unit,’ the agency quoted the ministry as saying.

Plant spokesman Andriy Tuz told Ukrainian television that it is urgent to stop the fighting to put out the flames, while Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, said there was ‘firing from all sides’ at the plant.

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, said: ‘Russian army is firing from all sides upon Zaporizhzhia NPP, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe,’ he said.

‘Fire has already broke out. If it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl! Russians must IMMEDIATELY cease the fire, allow firefighters, establish a security zone!’

Kuleba was referring to the 1986 accident in the Chernobyl nuclear power plant when the Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, considered the worst nuclear disaster in history.

Zaporizhzhia has six nuclear reactors, making it the largest of its kind in Europe, and accounts for about one quarter of Ukraine’s power generation. One report said the fire was about 150 meters away from one of the reactors. There has been fierce fighting between local forces and Russian troops, the mayor – Dmytro Orlov – said in an online post reporting the fire, adding that there had been casualties without giving details.

‘As a result of continuous enemy shelling of buildings and units of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is on fire,’ Orlov said on his Telegram channel, citing what he called a threat to world security.

The shocking footage came after Ukrainian civilians defied Russian troops for a second day running in a bid to protect the nuclear plant. They were shown setting up make-shift road blocks in an attempt to barricade the route to the facility. Both the Ukrainian state atomic energy company and Orlov warned troops were nearing Zaporizhzhia. Officials said loud shots were heard in the city late Thursday.

‘Many young men in athletic clothes and armed with Kalashnikov have come into the city. They are breaking down door and trying to get into the apartments of local residents,’ the statement from Energoatom said.

Today, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal joined Ukraine’s president in calling on the West to close the skies over Ukraine’s nuclear plants as fighting intensified around the major energy hub on the left bank of the Dnieper River and the Khakhovka Reservoir.

Shmyhal said he already had appealed to NATO and the International Atomic Energy Agency, the United Nations’ atomic watchdog.

‘Close the skies over Ukraine! It is a question of the security of the whole world!’ Shmyhal said in a statement Thursday evening.

The U.S. and NATO allies have ruled out creating a no-fly zone since the move would directly pit Russian and Western militaries. READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 15,860+ people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 150,000+ followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 15,900 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.

Total false flag reporting and bullshit.. it is a building not far away on fire but of no consequence to the plant .. the plant is too important to ukraine and Russia to be put out of action or expose the Ukrainian population to the radiation ….just goes to show tho…nuclear reactors are not the way to go..not as safe for humans no matter what the reason it failed

      BULLSHIT!

A truck was shelled in the parking lot of a reactor site. No damage to reactor, and no radiation leaks.
