A World of Undisclosed, Unallocated Accounts

In our complex and diverse marketplace, it is not always the most convenient option to go through through “Better Business Bureau,” 100% customer recommended establishments. After all, these businesses tend to be larger than some of the other options in a marketplace. So, for instance, while it is tempting to store with a company like Garda or Brinks, since they come recommended from all the self-directed IRA companies and are well-established companies, there is nothing like being able to talk face-to-face with a local business owner who is willing to make safes available to you.  You can feel more comfortable, and even more control. But, there is often more than meets the eye, and that is why you must be wary of the precious metals investors’ biggest foe: The undisclosed, unallocated account.

The undisclosed, unallocated account really sums up the way of the world. Essentially all funds deposited into Keystone banks are seen by those banks as not deposits of the customer, but rather property of the bank, with which they can gamble away, doing as they please.  Government does the same thing with taxpayer money.  The social contract implies that any taxes paid from a slave to a government is meant to be used towards the “greater good.”  Sometimes, however, these funds have been used for nefarious ends.  In the end, the taxes were used on the citizenry who originally paid them. Today, the taxes don’t even get funneled back into the system. There is a blurred line between the private sector and the public sector, and so corporations with large lobbies, especially banks and military contractors, just get to dip their hand in the pot as they please. And only sometimes is this acknowledged publicly, such as the TAARP bailout.

The undisclosed unallocated account arises often when a customer, in search of a means of storing their precious metals, finds a small business owner with whom to do business. Perhaps the customer is only looking for precious metals, when the topic of storage comes up and the service provider mentions an arrangement in which they hold onto the customers precious metals.

The business owner is a trustworthy guy, seemingly, and so the customer agrees to the arrangement. Before too long, although the customer is under the naif impression that the metals are being stored in a safe, locked away, the business owner is using the precious metals as his own venture capital. The customer knows nothing of this, and so therefore does not accrue dividends as an investor should.  The customers ignorance has led them into a situation where, not only are they not making a dime on a significant investment, they also run the risk of not ever seeing their metals again, especially in the event of the establishment, where they are “storing” their precious metals, going bankrupt.

There are other ways of storing precious metals, then risking them all.

While plenty of individuals have made the mistake of being duped by a smooth-talker, all of us have been victims of the undisclosed, unallocated accounts.  This is not only true of finance, for information and knowledge too are kept from those of us looked down upon from ivory towers.

The ultimate form of account is the undisclosed an allocated account. Independence is the key to a love filled life. When one does not serve others, or worried about being served by others, they are then free to float and taste the rainbow of a creative and diverse life. Unless there is some otherwise pre-agreed upon arrangement, then your account is nobody else’s business. It is your labor put away for later, so that you can enjoy the ease of free time.
